About Neil
ACME STUNTS INC.
SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT
Following my father’s transition from the military in 1978 as a highly decorated officer and receiving the MBE for his distinguished service, our family became deeply embedded in the outdoor pursuits industry. From the age of six, I underwent extensive training across multiple disciplines, including canoeing, water skiing, climbing, abseiling, firearms handling, sailing, windsurfing, and archery. Under my father’s guidance, I developed a high level of proficiency in each sport, earning the highest available qualifications in every discipline I later taught.
This foundation instilled in me a profound understanding of skill development, safety protocols, and risk management principles that seamlessly translate into the stunt industry. My dedication to health and safety, particularly in high-risk environments, has been a driving force in ensuring that both performers and crew operate under the safest possible conditions while maintaining the creative integrity of each production.
With 17 years of experience in the stunt industry across both the UK and Australia, where I hold the position of graded assistant coordinator in Australia, I have cultivated extensive expertise, deep industry knowledge, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Throughout my career, I have contributed to a diverse range of productions, gaining invaluable insight into the complexities of executing high-risk sequences. My leadership experience, combined with my passion for training and development, has provided me with a well-rounded perspective on the industry's evolving needs.
As a dedicated member of the British Stunt Register, I take great pride in upholding its values with integrity and professionalism. The BSR has long been a cornerstone of the stunt industry, setting critical standards to safeguard both performers and production teams.
Beyond my stunt career, I have successfully founded and managed two multi-million-dollar companies, This experience has equipped me with a strong foundation in business operations, financial management, risk assessment, and strategic decision-making. Leading these ventures required exceptional leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to navigate complex challenges, competencies that further enhance my ability to manage high-stakes environments within the stunt industry.
